Software SLA Guidelines

01 Licensing Scope & Usage Restrictions

By deploying custom database installations, CRM systems, or school ERP software built by Lakshya Softech, you agree to comply with our licensing conditions. Licensed software is granted strictly for the organization named in the purchase contract. Unauthorized duplication, extraction of raw modules, or resale of proprietary proctoring models is strictly prohibited.

02 Intellectual Property Rights & Code Ownership

The ownership distribution of custom software code depends on the specific project milestone agreement:

• Custom Code Modules: Client obtains 100% intellectual property ownership of customized workflows, tables, layouts, and business logic upon complete settlement of phase milestones.
• Proprietary Framework Libraries: Pre-built database modules, background proctoring models, and parser cores remain the intellectual property of Lakshya Softech, licensed to the client on a perpetual, royalty-free basis.

03 Service Level Agreement (SLA) Metrics

For hosted enterprise ERP applications and databases under our support contracts, we guarantee the following Service Level parameters:

• System Availability: 99.99% monthly database uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows announced 48 hours in advance.
• Database Backup Cycles: Incremental transactional database backups executed every 6 hours, with full weekly secure storage copies.
• Support Response Matrix: Priority-1 critical server bugs receive active diagnostic response within 2 hours.

04 Client Input Responsibilities

Clients must maintain the security of login credentials, active database connection strings, and student/parent dashboard authorization keys. Lakshya Softech is not liable for data exposures resulting from weak system passwords or local credential leaks.

05 Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Lakshya Softech is not liable for consequential loss, data corruption, profit drops, or business interruptions arising out of the performance or downtime of customized systems, save for SLA credits detailed in purchase contracts.
